The MX10008 and MX10016 Universal Routing Platforms provide performance that scales with your services, a cloud-optimized form factor, and superior cost-per-bit economics. They can be deployed at the edge to optimize converged mobility, IoT, enterprise, and cable environments, and can also be used in multiservice edge and converged core architectures. They support label-switching router (LSR), provider edge, Internet peering, and backbone applications for national or regional deployments.
Powered by Trio silicon, the MX10008 scales to 19.2 Tbps throughput in 13 U, and the MX10016 scales to 38.4 Tbps throughput in 21 U, with ample capacity for long-term investment protection. They also have near endless data plane programmability, giving you the freedom to implement new network innovations.
