Juniper Extends Active Period of Certifications

Based on feedback from the certified community, the Juniper Networks Certification Program (JNCP) has changed to the length of time certifications remain active. As of October 9th, 2015, all active certifications earned are now valid for a period of three years. This change eliminates the inactive period of one year and aligns the JNCP with the industry standard for technical certifications.

  • All currently active certifications have had their expiration date extended by one year
  • All currently inactive certifications have been moved to the active status. Note the expiration date is unchanged
  • Any new certifications earned will remain active for three years from the date earned before expiring if not renewed. Certifications will no longer move to the inactive status.

How to Verify Your New Certification Expiration Date

To verify the expiration of your existing certifications, simply log in to CertManager and click on ‘Certifications’ from the top navigation bar.
