Retired Certifications expiring December 31, 2013

Effective December 31, 2013, the following Juniper Networks legacy certifications will expire.

The exams that lead to these certifications went end-of-life in December of 2010 and were replaced by new JNCP tracks:

  • Service Provider Routing and Switching
  • Enterprise Routing and Switching
  • Junos Security

Since this time, JNCP candidates have been able to recertify onto the new JNCP tracks.

If you have not recertified onto these new certification tracks by the end of this year your legacy certifications will expire.

If this relates to you, to maintain your certification you will need to transition to the new certification tracks by December 31, 2013. Please see details on how to recertify on the JNCP website - Recertification.

To prepare for your JNCIS SP/ENT/SEC exam go to the FastTrack portal for free study guides, practice tests and 50% discount exam vouchers. All exam details are provided on the JNCP website - Certification Tracks, along with additional study resources, by exam.

If you have recertified onto the new certification tracks (i.e. you hold an active JNCIS or JNCIP in the new tracks) your legacy certifications will also expire, but you will be granted a JNCIA-Junos certification in recognition of your expiring certifications.
