Junos Space Services Activation Director is an intelligent, automated provisioning application that gives service providers and enterprises the ability to quickly design, provision and offer new MPLS and Carrier Ethernet services across their networks, reducing the operational costs and enabling quick service rollouts.

As a Junos Space Management Application, Junos Space Services Activation Director* provides full MPLS L2/L3 VPN and Carrier-Ethernet service resource management, including automated network discovery, and workflow-driven service provisioning, validation, and troubleshooting, for cost-effectively scaling services. This application also enables quick, easy, accurate VPLS creation for secure communications between geographically dispersed customer sites.

• Automated discovery and inventory of network devices: Creates an accurate, consolidated inventory view that includes line cards, PICS, interfaces, Junos version, chassis types and serial numbers.
• Automated MPLS and network resource management: Pre-defined network signature rules based on best practices for MPLS role assignment enable fast, efficient and accurate service provisioning and deliver rapid time-to-revenue.
• Best practice, pre-defined service design offerings for ELINE/ELAN services: Turnkey, customizable service model can be repurposed to provide shorter time-to-market for service offerings.
• Workflow-driven point-and-click provisioning allows operators to easily select the endpoints for activating a customer VPN. Supported MPLS network management services include CE and ELINE/ELAN-VPLS. Configuration accuracy is increased and allows for a simpler customer problem troubleshooting environment.
• Pre-post configuration validation: Built-in configuration and functional audit checks to ensure effective service provisioning and troubleshooting for increased service assurance and time-to-revenue.
