Threat Management - Unified Threat Management

The threat landscape continues to evolve with increasingly complex attacks that are directed squarely against the corporate network to achieve a malicious goal. Organizations must protect against inbound and outbound threats to prevent damage to the network, applications and users.

Juniper offers a unified set of threat management products with the capabilities and performance to enable organizations to protect all areas of the network from internal and external threats, to set and enforce network policies, and to gain visibility into network activity.

Description

The most effective security architecture to ensure maximum protection from network and application layer threats is based on multi-layered protection that's appropriate for each location of the network. Juniper provides holistic solutions to satisfy requirements from the branch office to the data center that offer comprehensive security features, proven reliability and exceptional performance.

High Performance Firewall and IPSec VPN

Juniper Networks' complete line of Firewall / IPSec VPN products offers high-speed protection from network- and application-level attacks. A complete set of Unified Threat Management (UTM) security features–including Stateful firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Antivirus, Anti-Spam and Web Filtering (available in certain products)–stops worms, Spyware, Trojans, malware and other emerging attacks. To help block malicious application-layer attacks, some models have fully integrated Intrusion Detection and Prevention technology for a comprehensive solution with a lower total cost of ownership. On all other models, security administrators can deploy IPS using the Deep Inspection firewall to block application-level attacks.

High Levels of Security: Intrusion Detection and Prevention

Juniper Networks IDP series provides day-zero threat protection against worms, Trojans, spyware and other malware by identifying and stopping network and application-level attacks before they can enter the network. By leveraging multiple detection mechanisms, the Juniper Networks IDP solution offers comprehensive attack coverage to thwart known attacks as well as possible variations of future versions of the attack.

Centralized, Policy-Based Control: NetScreen-Security Manager

Juniper Networks NetScreen-Security Manager offers a seamless, easy-to-use, centralized management solution to control all aspects of the Juniper Networks Firewall / IPSec VPN and IDP products, including device configuration, network settings and security policy. Using the NetScreen-Security Manager system, device technicians, network administrators and security administrators can work together to improve threat management efficiency and security, reduce overhead and lower operating costs.
