Remote Access Control
Remote access enables off-site employees, partners, consultants and customers to access and process centralized information as though they were in the office–while ensuring they can only access the right information based on who they are, what device they are using, and the type of network in which they are accessing your data. Growth in the number of remote users, hours of use and variety of end-point devices and accessed applications have exposed new demands for remote access.
- Ease of use to address the variety of users and varying levels of expertise
- Best-in-class performance to ensure optimal productivity and in-office experience for remote users
- Comprehensive security to address the growing number and sophistication of potential threats and attacks as more users gain access to corporate resources
- Control to ensure established practices for compliance
- Lower maintenance costs with lighter clients and ease of access to reduce support costs
- Business continuity requirements in the event of a pandemic/disaster event triggering demand as employees and partners are quarantined and need remote connectivity
Juniper Networks addresses these gaps with a solution that secures remote access over the Internet, while protecting internal resources and enhancing productivity with secure access. Key advantages of the approach include strong security, high scalability, high availability and ease of support.
Introduction
Juniper Networks enables remote users - including teleworkers, mobile users and partners - to securely access and use corporate applications as though they were in the office.
Extending applications to remote users via the Internet enables wide reach at low costs, but also opens an organization to new risks if the design and operations are inadequate. Legacy solutions, such as direct-dial links and client-based tunnels, do not sufficiently support today's extended requirements to fully secure, protect and accelerate remote applications access. The Juniper Networks solution for remote access meets today's needs.
