Overview
Delivering best-in-class scalability, performance, and redundancy, the Infranet Controller 6500 (IC 6500) is the next generation of UAC's hardened, centralized policy management server. The IC 6500 can push the UAC Agent to an endpoint (or using agentless mode) to gather user authentication, endpoint security state, and device location data. The IC 6500 uses this information to implement dynamic policies that it distributes to enforcement points across the network, including any vendor-agnostic 802.1X-enabled access point and switch, like the Juniper Networks EX 3200 and EX 4200 series switches, and any Juniper Networks firewall platform.
The IC6500 can be deployed in 3-unit clusters to increase performance and provide additional scalability. It includes a number of redundant, field-upgradable, high-availability features, including:
- Dual, hot-swappable, mirrored SATA hard drives
- Dual, hot-swappable fans
- Optional hot-swappable power supplies
Multimedia
Note: The streaming speed for anything lower than a corporate connection will be very slow due to the large file sizes.
