TELNET User: "4Dgifts" SGI Account
This signature detects attempts to TELNET to a Silicon Graphics system and login using the user name "4Dgifts," a default "example account" with no password. SGI provides example accounts that do not have passwords for local access only. A successful attempt can allow an attacker to take control of SGI products.
Extended Description
The default username/password pair for SGI products allows an attacker to take control of SGI products.
