SNMP: Message Too Short
This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects a SNMP message that is too short. SNMP requests should have the version, community, request type, request ID, error status, error index, and the oid/value pairs.
Extended Description
The detection of an anomalous packet could indicate a network configuration error, or that an attacker is attempting to inject malformed SNMP messages into the network.
