SNMP: Encoding OID Value Too Large
This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects a SNMP message with an Object ID member that exceeds 4 billion.
Extended Description
OID values that are too large could cause a denial or service or buffer overflow. The impact would depend on how the software handles this kind of malformed SNMP encoding. The existence of malformed SNMP encoding could indicate that an attack has taken place.
