SNMP: Community Zero Length
This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects a SNMP message with an empty community string. This can indicate an attacker is sending bogus SNMP messages to the server.
Extended Description
The condition may indicate a network configuration error. It may also indicate that a malicious attack attempt, involving the injection of malformed SNMP datagrams, is underway.
