SNMP: Community FORMAT Character
This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects a SNMP message with a % character in the community string. This can cause some SNMP servers to behave incorrectly.
Extended Description
The presence of SNMP community strings containing format characters (%) is abnormal, and could indicate that an attack is taking place. It could also be the result of a configuration or implementation error.
