SCADA: Kingview Network Based Buffer Overflow
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the Kingview. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the Kingview.
Extended Description
Kingview is prone to a network-based buffer-overflow vulnerability. Successful exploits may allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application. Failed attacks will cause denial-of-service conditions. Kingview 6.53 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
