P2P: WinMX Server Response Connect OK
This signature detects sucessful WinMX connections to port 6699, the default WinMX port. WinMX is a peer-to-peer file sharing client that tests firewall rules and reverse-connectivity to determine the most effective way to share files. Because WinMX also commonly uses ports 8484, 9966, 19966, you might want to modify your policy to monitor these ports as well. For maximum effectiveness, modify your policy to monitor all ports. NOTE: Monitoring all ports can impact IDP performance considerably.
