P2P: BitTorrent Tracker Denial of Service
This signature detects malformed Authorization strings sent to a BitTorrent tracker server. Attackers can send an HTTP Authorization: Basic A== to a BitTorrent server and interrupt the service.
Extended Description
An attacker can cause a denial of service, or execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable system with the privileges of the BitTorrent Tracker server process.
