This protocol anomaly is the peer status word in the peer event code field is not in the defined range of values (0-6).
Extended Description
The impact would depend on the NTP implementation, and could result in a buffer overflow, disclosure of confidential information, Denial of Service (DoS), or execution of arbitrary code.
