MS-RPC: Windows 2000 RPC DCOM Interface DoS
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in Windows 2000 SP4 and earlier versions. Attackers can send a maliciously crafted Windows RPC packet to crash the Windows 2000 RPC service; attackers with an account on the target host can also escalate their privileges.
Extended Description
Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability to crash the RPCSS service on an affected machine.
