LPR: DFile Too Large

This protocol anomaly is an LPR data file length that exceeds the user-defined maximum. The default data file length is 1024; you can change this setting in the Sensor Settings Rulebase>Protocol Thresholds and Configuration>LPR>Data file size. This triggering this protocol anomaly can indicate that an attacker is attempting to download large files to the LPR daemon.

Extended Description

Any value that exceeds the user-defined maximal LPR data file length is treated as a protocol anomaly. The impact depends on how an affected server processes a malformed LPR command containing an overly large data file length.
