LDAP: Empty Extended Response
This protocol anomaly is an LDAP extended response message, where the length of the response name was found to be zero. The response name is an optional field in the extended response message.
Extended Description
Improperly-formed BER data structures may cause LDAP applications to exhibit unexpected behavior, potentially exposing security flaws, such as buffer overflows, in software components that process the data.
