IDENT: Too Many Requests
This protocol anomaly is more IDENT requests per session than the user-defined maximum. The default IDENT requests per session is 1; you can change this setting in the Sensor Settings Rulebase>Protocol Thresholds and Configuration>IDENT>Maximum requests per session. This protocol anomaly can indicate a scan for IDENT servers that support multiple requests within the same connection.
