HTTP: Zoho ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus Stored Cross-Site Scripting
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against Zoho ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Extended Description
Insufficient output sanitization in ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus before version 11200 and ManageEngine AssetExplorer before version 6800 allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to conduct persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks by uploading a crafted XML asset file.
