HTTP: Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager CVE-2021-37152 Cross-Site Scripting
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Extended Description
Multiple XSS issues exist in Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager 3 before 3.33.0. An authenticated attacker with the ability to add HTML files to a repository could redirect users to Nexus Repository Managers pages with code modifications.
