HTTP: Smartstore SmartStoreNET Stored Cross-Site Scripting
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against Smartstore SmartStoreNET. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Extended Description
An issue was discovered in Smartstore (aka SmartStoreNET) through 4.1.1. Views/Boards/Partials/_ForumPost.cshtml does not call HtmlUtils.SanitizeHtml on certain text for a forum post.
