HTTP: phpGACL acl_admin.php Reflected Cross-Site Scripting

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against phpGACL . It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

Extended Description

A cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in the template functionality of phpGACL 3.3.7. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary JavaScript execution. An attacker can provide a crafted URL to trigger this vulnaerability in the phpGACL template action parameter.
