HTTP: Microsoft Office SharePoint Stored Cross-site Scripting
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against Microsoft Office SharePoint. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

A cross-site-scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists when Microsoft SharePoint Server does not properly sanitize a specially crafted web request to an affected SharePoint server, aka 'Microsoft Office SharePoint XSS Vulnerability'.
