HTTP: LibreNMS ServiceTemplateController.php Name and Alert Rule Name Stored Cross-Site Scripting

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against LibreNMS . It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

Extended Description

LibreNMS is an open-source, PHP/MySQL/SNMP-based network monitoring system. Prior to version 24.4.0, there is improper sanitization on the `Service` template name, which can lead to stored Cross-site Scripting. Version 24.4.0 fixes this vulnerability.
