This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability in the LDAP Account Manager. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Extended Description
LDAP Account Manager is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data. An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks. LDAP Account Manager 3.4.0 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
