HTTP: Jenkins Rundeck Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against Jenkins Rundeck Plugin. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Extended Description
Jenkins Rundeck Plugin 3.6.10 and earlier does not restrict URL schemes in Rundeck webhook submissions, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers able to submit crafted Rundeck webhook payloads.
