HTTP: Jenkins Badge Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against Jenkins Badge Plugin. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Extended Description
Jenkins Badge Plugin 1.9 and earlier does not escape the description and does not check for allowed protocols when creating a badge, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exploitable by attackers with Item/Configure permission.
