This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against IBM Rational. A remote unauthenticated attacker can leverage the vulnerability to achieve cross-site scripting attacks.

Extended Description

IBM Rational ClearCase is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because the software fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site.
