HTTP: BEA Weblogic Apache Connector Buffer Overflow

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in BEA Weblogic Apache Connector. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the system.

Extended Description

Oracle mod_wl (formerly BEA mod_wl) is prone to a remote buffer-overflow vulnerability because the application fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data. An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.
