HTTP: Microsoft Internet Explorer Objects Handling Memory Corruption

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the Microsoft Internet Explorer. A successful attack could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the targeted system. Failed exploit attempts could result in a denial of service condition.

Extended Description

Microsoft Internet Explorer is prone to a remote memory-corruption vulnerability that occurs when the application tries to parse a specially crafted web page. Successfully exploiting this issue would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the currently logged-in user.
