HTTP: Microsoft Internet Explorer CVE-2016-0200 Use After Free
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known code execution vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer. It is due to a use-after-free error within the HTML engine. A remote attacker can exploit this by enticing a target user to open a maliciously crafted HTML document. A successful exploit can result in arbitrary code execution.
Extended Description
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 through 11 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted web site, aka "Internet Explorer Memory Corruption Vulnerability," a different vulnerability than CVE-2016-0199 and CVE-2016-3211.
