HTTP: Microsoft HTML Help '.chm' File Stack Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Extended Description

Microsoft HTML Help is prone to a remote stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability. The vulnerability occurs when the application handles a malformed Microsoft HTML Help file ('.chm'). An attacker may exploit the issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application. Failed exploit attempts likely result in denial-of-service conditions.
