HTTP: Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 and Windows Media Player 11 Memory Corruption
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 and Windows Media Player 11. Extended Description
Microsoft Windows Media Player is prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability when processing a malformed AU file. A remote attacker can exploit this issue to crash the affected application, denying service to legitimate users. This issue affects Microsoft Windows Media Player 11; other versions may also be affected.
