HTTP: Malformed ogg File Buffer Overflow
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in Malformed ogg File. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the affected user.
Extended Description
Media Player Classic is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this issue to crash the application. Remote code execution may also be possible, but this has not been confirmed. Media Player Classic 6.4.9.1 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
