HTTP: Google Chrome and Apple Safari Ruby Before And After Blocks Memory Corruption

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known against Apple Safari and Google Chrome web browsers, as well as Apple iTunes. A successful attack can lead to a memory corruption and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the affected application.

Extended Description

Google Chrome is prone to multiple vulnerabilities. Attackers can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code in the context of the browser, cause denial-of-service conditions, perform spoofing attacks, and bypass the same-origin policy; other attacks may also be possible. Versions prior to Chrome 11.0.696.57 are vulnerable.
