HTTP: Adobe PDF File Containing Malformed JPEG
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in Adobe Reader and Acrobat. Adobe Reader and Acrobat 10.x before 10.0.1, 9.x before 9.4.2, and 8.x before 8.2.6 on Windows and Mac OS X allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through an image.
Extended Description
Adobe Acrobat and Reader are prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the user running the affected application. Adobe Reader and Acrobat versions prior to 9.4.2 and 10.0.1 are affected.
