HTTP: Uncommon ActiveX Access
This signature detects Web pages containing uncommon ActiveX components. ActiveX controls are often used for exploiting browser based vulnerabilities. This signature does not necessarily detect an attack, but it does detect access to ActiveX controls that are rarely used on the Internet. The chances of false positives are currently unknown; therefore we only recommend using this signature for research or with direct monitoring.
