HTTP: Internet Explorer ActiveX RevealTrans

This signature detects Web pages that contain a dangerous ActiveX object. A malicious Web site can exploit a known vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer to create a denial-of-service condition on the client.

Extended Description

Microsoft Internet Explorer is prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability. This issue is triggered when an attacker convinces a victim user to visit a malicious website. Remote attackers may exploit this issue to crash Internet Explorer, effectively denying service to legitimate users.
