HTTP: Real Networks RealPlayer ieframe.dll ActiveX
This signature detects attempts to use unsafe ActiveX controls in RealNetworks RealPlayer ieframe.dll. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.
Extended Description
Real Networks RealPlayer is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability. Successful exploits will allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed attacks may cause denial-of-service conditions. RealPlayer 11 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
