HTTP: MW6 Technologies Unsafe ActiveX Control
This signature detects attempts to use unsafe ActiveX controls in MW6 Technologies Aztec. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.
Extended Description
MW6 Aztec, DataMatrix, and MaxiCode ActiveX controls before version 4.0 vulnerable to arbitrary code via a crafted HTML document. Latest versions (4.0) of MW6 Aztec, DataMatrix, and MaxiCode ActiveX controls have resolved the issue
