HTTP: Husdawg LLC System Requirements Lab Unsafe ActiveX Control
This signature detects attempts to use unsafe ActiveX controls in Husdawg, LLC. System Requirements Lab. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.
Extended Description
Husdawg System Requirements Lab ActiveX controls and Java applets are prone to multiple remote code-execution vulnerabilities. Successful exploit will allow attackers to download and execute arbitrary files on the affected computer in the context of the application that uses the plugins.
