HTTP: Internet Explorer ActiveX DataSourceControl

This signature detects Web pages that contain a dangerous ActiveX object. A malicious Web site can exploit a known vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer to create a denial-of-service condition on the client.

Extended Description

Internet Explorer is prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to crash Internet Explorer and deny service to users. Internet Explorer 6 SP2 is prone to this issue; other versions may also be vulnerable.
