HTTP: Microsoft XML Core Services CVE-2017-0022 Unsafe ActiveX Control

This signature detects attempts to use an unsafe ActiveX control in Microsoft XML Core Services. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.

Extended Description

A remote code execution vulnerability exists when the Microsoft XML Core Services MSXML parser processes user input, aka 'MS XML Remote Code Execution Vulnerability'. This CVE ID is unique from CVE-2019-0790, CVE-2019-0791, CVE-2019-0792, CVE-2019-0795.
