HTTP: Citrix Access Gateway Plug-in ActiveX Remote Code Execution
This signature detects attempts to use unsafe ActiveX controls in the Citrix Access Gateway Plug-in. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.
Extended Description
The Citrix Access Gateway Plug-in ActiveX control is prone to multiple remote code-execution vulnerabilities. Attackers may exploit these issues by enticing an unsuspecting victim to view a malicious webpage. Successfully exploiting these issues will allow attackers to execute arbitrary code within the context of the application that uses the ActiveX control (typically Internet Explorer). Citrix Access Gateway Plug-in versions prior to 8.1-67.7, 9.0-70.5, and 9.1-96.4 are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
