HTTP: C6 Messenger Installation URL Downloader
This signature detects attempts to use unsafe ActiveX controls in C6 Messenger. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.
Extended Description
C6 Messenger Installation URL Downloader ActiveX control is prone to a vulnerability that lets remote attackers download files from arbitrary locations to an affected computer. Attackers may exploit this issue by enticing victims into visiting a maliciously crafted webpage.
