HTTP: Savant Web Server GET % Request
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against the Savant HTTP server. Savant HTTP server 3.0 and earlier versions are vulnerable. Attackers can send a maliciously crafted HTTP GET request that contains only %%% or %%%%% to the Web server to crash the server and create a denial of service.
Extended Description
An attacker could make a specific GET request that causes the Web server to enter into an infinite loop, thus creating a Denial of Service (DoS) condition.
