HTTP: ICQ Webfront DoS (2)
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against the Mirabilis ICQ Web Front, a personal Web server for ICQ users. Attackers can send GET requests with 86 or more % characters or a combination of ascii encoded dots and backslashes to cause the server to consume 100% CPU.
Extended Description
Remote attackers could exploit this vulnerability to execute a Denial of Service. Once attacked, an affected server must be restarted to resume normal functionality.
