HTTP: TinyWebGallery Local File Inclusion
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known local file inclusion vulnerability in TinyWebGallery. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can exploit this by enticing a target to open a malicious URL link. A successful attack can result in arbitrary code execution and/or loss of sensitive information.
Extended Description
TinyWebGallery is prone to multiple local file-include and SQL-injection vulnerabilities. An attacker can exploit these issues to compromise the application, access or modify data, exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database, and view and execute arbitrary local files within the context of the webserver. TinyWebGallery 1.8.3 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
